Giannico

My travels often brought me to New York. What a joy, what a delight.

During one of my Marathon Shopping weekends, I entered the one and only Barneys. I was in love with that place! So inspiring. 

While getting lost in the beauty of young designers’ creations, I fell in love with these amazingly beautiful shoes! 

Then, in that moment, I fell in love with my first Giannico Mule and I started my own personal collection (I think I can count 10 pairs of them!). 

I looked at the designer “Giannico” and albeit being a fashion addicted already, back then, I was not familiar with the brand!

The discovery of the designer and the history of the brand was another beautiful journey and… after a few years I was cheering with bubbles on Palazzo Avino Terrace with the one and only Nicolò Beretta, the young and utmost talented designer behind these art pieces!

Getting to know Nicolò, his recognized talent since he was ten years sold, his meeting with Manolo Blahnik, his story in the fashion industry was very inspiring.

He is pure talent. He creates jewelry pieces, not shoes.

During his stay in Ravello, he fell in love with our Pink Palace and Pink boutique and did conceive a special mule for our clients in hot Pink, with a romantic but Punk soul.

Furthermore, we could not resist to showcase all the signature pieces and mules in his collection! Seeing all the creations is pure joy, it seems a glamourous candy shop.

Giannico creations do bring joy and rainbow touch in The Pink Closet walls. A unique combination!
